OH ME OH MY is the online portfolio of Designer Emma Shepherd. I am especially keen on projects that make people’s lives better. An early advocate of using design for social good and sustainable design practices.
Design should be useful in the real world, so I use well-rehearsed techniques to get to know your organisation and your people. I look for patterns, inconsistencies, omissions and fresh ways to help shape the direction of the project lifecycle. I call this the research stage and I think it’s important – for me, and for you.
I love it when things please the eye, but above all I value the substance and sophistication of ideas, especially when they come from unlikely places. We can work together to understand the needs of your people and reach out to them. What matters is that the end result is a pleasing working relationship and fit for your stakeholders.
